"I am Dr. Daniel Oliveira, and my journey began like this: My first degree was in Physical Therapy from the State University of Santa Catarina in 2007. Since that, I had a keen interest in how to properly treat joint problems and, while still a student, I joined the Laboratory of Neurobiology of Nociception, affiliated with the Department of Pharmacology at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. I stayed for six years, involved in basic research about mechanisms of joint pain, more specifically in knees, where I earned my Master's degree in Pharmacology.
After that, I enrolled in Medicine at the University of Southern Santa Catarina, earning my degree in 2013. I chose Orthopedics and Traumatology, completing my three-year medical residency at the Regional Hospital of São José (SC). Then i joined the Paulista School of Medicine (UNIFESP), where I received one year of clinical and surgical training in the treatment of knee injuries. Since then, I have maintained continuous international professional development and have completed several internships in the United States, Germany, and India."
